AMANDA JANE

Hi! I’m Amanda. I’ve been shooting weddings since 2014. It took about a year for me to get the hang of it and learn the ins and outs of weddings, at which point I started really getting into it and have been doing around 50 weddings a year ever since. I was taught by one of the region’s most skilled & longest established wedding photographers in a classic style I would describe as timeless and artistic fine art. Since branching out and starting my own business, my style has continued to evolve and become even more me—timeless, elegant and romantic.

I have 4 dogs in my life who I love like they were my own human children. Three English Springer Spaniels (who reply to every one of their respective nicknames) and one large chocolate lab named Moose. As you can see, I clearly have a huge special spot in my heart for these creatures as I instinctively began writing about them in the second item in my about me page.

Another passion of mine is chai tea, which no day is complete without.

I also love hiking and yoga—something very precious to me after I ate it snowboarding a couple winters ago and ended up doing PT for a year before child’s pose was even an option again.

Weddings are everything to me. Nothing else compares. The excitement, the rush, the pressure, and ultimately the satisfaction I get from shooting a wedding is unmatched for me as a photographer.
